OCC worked with AbD serotec to produce a business intelligence solution for higher management which integrates sales data across international boundaries which can be queried and analyzed in real-time.
OCC developed an analytical software system, for the Signal Group's Air Quality Monitoring (AQM) system, to work in conjunction with existing hardware. The AQM hardware features an automated dialler, which calls AQM stations remotely around the UK and collects air quality data from those sites.
OCC consultants worked closely with an MoD team to develop a new web-fronted solution for controlling the spares inventory for the Army Supply Chain Operations Centre (SCOC). This resulted in a gain in efficiency, reducing costs for the MoD.
The OCC team designed and implemented a large workflow system for a major bank, its key benefit is supporting the management team by ensuring that the right work is given to the correct person at the right time. The system was designed to allow users to write workflow applications specifically tailored to business their needs. Such a system has considerable significance for business by improving staff efficiency and thus decreasing costs to an organization.
OCC worked together with several partners on the European funded research project REACT. REACT's aim was to identify new technological concepts to assist emergency service operators based in the command and control room. OCC used data mining analysis to investigate data and investigated AI-based solutions.
